(They've probably met... at least once, I'd think)
Damon laughed quietly, closing his eyes. "Well, I'm sure that I've been selfish, and I know that I have the power to be cruel, and I don't want to lie to you, I have ruined a few lives. But I've never destroyed a life out of spite or just to be unkind. And while I hate the council..." he paused. He was being honest when he said he didn't want to lie to his daughter, but he also didn't want her to know about his plans. "I've done my very best to stay out of their affairs." he compromised.
Damien shook his head. "Following him at this point isn't going to help anything. It's just the basis of the situation pisses me off..." he muttered, wrapping his fingers around the chain of a swing-set, plopping down on the seat. Duo sighed. "I know what you mean, man..." he said, his eye sad, walking over to the swing next to Damien. "It doesn't feel right, you know?" Ever since Duo's mother and brother had been murdered a few years back, Damon had agreed to raise Duo, as there was no legitimate father to claim him. Duo respected Damon with everything he had, so he could understand Damien's frustration.

"Hey, Pigpiss, calm down." said a girl with dark Red hair and green eyes, she sat on a bench a pair of grey headphones blasting music in her ears. This was Zoe Robin, she wasn't a child of Damon's, She was his granddaughter. Dumped on her ass and abandoned was how she liked to put it. Zoe had terribly dirty language for someone of her age, she was anti-establishment(of any establishment) spoke her mind and called everyone pigpiss, with the exception of Susan. Zoe looked at Damien thinking to herself 'At least you HAVE a father.'
-- Oprheus walked down the sidewalk listening to classical music form his ear buds. Maybe he'd go to the park and just sit for a while. The tree martens would be out this time of year. thought they may be sleeping at night now. "less than a week" He said aloud to himself. "Less than a week" he felt bad for leaving Senzi at home, but he didn't' want her more worried than she probably already was. Orpheus sighed and switched his iPod to shuffle and slipped it back in his pocket. Less than a week till his next birthday.

Melanie nodded. "I don't think you ruined my Mama's life, but she did push me to take the spot on the future council, so if anyone ruins lives it's Mama..." She said, smiling. "I think you're not that bad Papa."
Jamie glared at Damien, leaning against one of the poles of the swingset. "You're a hopeless child." She scoffed. "Why can't you disobey that man's orders for once in your pathetic life?" She asked, throwing her hands in the air.
"Because that's your job deary..." Said a girl who was suddenly sitting on top of the swingset. Her hair was long and a pure white color, her eyes were a soft purple color and her skin was tanned even though she had been locked up for a few hundred years. Her hair was held up in two long pigtails. The girl looked like she could be anywhere from ten to fourteen years old, so what she was wearing made anyone who didn't know her wonder about her. She wore a red chinese mini dress with slits up both sides, showing her white undergarments and no shoes. She normally had an overly large pink and purple robe with long wide sleeves covering her thin arms, but tonight she had decided to leave it with the rest of her things. She held a beautifully decorated red fan with soft tan colored feathers on the end of it. "Now what are Nacht's Children doing here, at night, without him?" She asked.
Senzi watched Orpheus leave, and let out a sigh. "You're being difficult." She murmered, trying not to cry. She got out of bed and also got dressed in a white blouse, and blue denim capris, but sat back down on the bed, obviously not knowing what to do.
Sarania lightly skipped down the street trying to think of who to bother. Belladonna and her didn't get along much, and she knew the other teens wouldn't be getting into town till tomorrow night. She couldn't bother Orpheus because she figured he was with his new wife -which she was clearly ticked off about- so she was outside and bored, until she spotted Orpheus ahead of her, listening to music. "ORPHI-KUN!!!!!" She shouted, running up behind him. "Where are you going?!" Sarania's long black hair had been dyed purple and would have matched her mothers if it didn't have light red and white streaks in it aswell. She wore a purple and black shirt and skirt outfit, with black stockings and black slip ons.

Damien looked to Zoe, his teeth showing. "What are you doing here, you sad, pathetic girl?" he snapped, biting at the air in front of him. Duo lowered his head, raising his shoulders up to his ears, trying to make himself invisible. He hated getting caught up in the Damon family's feuds, which seemed to happen more often than not. He didn't know who this girl was, but she had a bit of the same spiritual energy as Damon's children.
Damon smiled at his daughter. "I'm sure that your Mumma only had what was best for you at heart, cut her some slack." he said, patting her hair.

Melanie nodded. "Mama refuses to come here with me, she leaves me in someone elses care." She said. "But I get to see my Orpheus and Belladonna, and now you, papa, when I come here." She smiled. "I have more to look forward to now when it comes to council things."
Jamie looked over at Zoe, and scoffed. "Don't spout such rude words, you disgrace." She hissed.
"Hey don't ignore me for some girl." Houmei said, jumping purposely falling down from the top of the swing-set and landing inbewteen Duo and Damien's swings, and sticking her tongue out.

Duo jumped, almost falling out of his seat. He had noticed the girl, but he hadn't expected her to jump down like that. Damien glanced at her, not quite sure what to think. All he knew was that there were way too many vampires hanging around than he cared to deal with. "I'm leaving..." he grumbled.
Damon nodded. "I think that this place just carries a lot of bad memories for you Mumma." he said as they made their way down the streets. "I don't think she likes being reminded of people like me."

Melanie nodded. "But Papa, you're much nicer then Mama probably remembers, she should come here with me next time, instead of leaving me with some attendant who I can get seperated from easily..."
Houmei looked over at Damien. "Are you heading home?" She asked, poking his arm.
Jamie just sorta looked from Zoe to Houmei, and then at Duo and Damien. "This is weird..." She sighed.

Damien looked to her. "What's it to you?" he asked, his eyes still cold. He didn't feel like dealing with her... he didn't feel like dealing with most of the people around him. He didn't even really know where he intended on going. If he went home, he would just end up napping. Damon kept a fairly Victorian home, so there wasn't a whole lot to do. It wasn't that he didn't allow his children to keep modern things. Damien himself had a fairly large stereo and many CDs, along with a laptop computer, but he still didn't like fiddling with technology too much. Duo followed Damien closely, not wanting to be left alone with the girls. He didn't want to get picked on, which he knew he would be if he stayed.
Damon smiled. "You're a very trusting person, but you've only known me for a few minutes. How do you know I'm such a nice guy."

Houmei glared at Damien as he walked away. "What a repulsive Child, I would have thought you're father would have raised you better!" She shouted at him. "You'll never get praise if you act like that!!!"
"Well Papa, you haven't done anything bad, and you got Damien to leave me alone..." Melanie said, smiling. "...and you're being nice...so I have no reason so think you're a bad guy."

"As I said..." he said looking away from her, staring ahead, "you haven't known me very long."
Damien stopped where he was, clenching his fists... but he didn't turn around. He bit his lip and ignored her. Over the years it got harder and harder for people to make Damien snap... or at least visibly snap. He was training himself to remain calm... even though it was very, very hard for him. "Good evening to you..." he hissed softly over his shoulder, walking away.

Jamie stifled a laugh at seeing her brother. "Very good Daddy's boy keep staying calm like that and maybe you'll turn into him." She joked.
Houmei looked over at Jamie, and stood on Tip-toes to try and see Eye-to-eye with her. "You look just like Nacht." She said, poking her inbetween the eyes. "Could you possibly give me, this little homeless girl a place to stay for a few days, until I see my cousin?" She asked, batting her eyelashes at Jamie, who just stared at her.
"Papa, I think you aren't very bad because you give a good first impression." She said, grabbing lightly onto his arm. "And I'm glad I finally got to meet you, even if the council will be made with me for talking with you, I don't mind it, y'know..."

"Well, I'm glad that you are fond of me. I'm fond of you too," he said, looking around. "However... we're getting a little close to my boundaries, so we should probably part ways." He touched her shoulder warmly. "I live in the residential district by the park. I'm the largest, dark bricked house. Come visit if you want. You can meet your siblings when they're not so grumpy."
Damien ignored his sister and headed off for the house, Duo following closely behind him.

Melanie nodded. "I'd like that very much, Thank you for walking me this far Papa, hopefully I'll get to see you soon." She said, smiling. She quickly hugged Damon before walking off to finish looking for the council building. "Make sure you get home safely Papa." She called before she disappeared from sight.
Jamie watched her brother leave, and let out a sigh. "Look Lady, I don't know you, and it would make me super happy to just bring some strange human chick to the house to upset my father, but I'm not sure if now's the right time..." She said, shrugging. "He's been well sorta weird lately in my opinion."
Houmei pouted and looked like she might cry. "But I'll be gone real soon I just gotta find my cousin tomorrow night." She protested. "PLEEEEAAASSSEEEE." She whined, taking one step in the direction Damien and Duo had gone.
Jamie, who was normally an expert at being rude to people seemed unable to just tell Houmei to get lost. It was as if there was some great power that made her have to be polite to the girl. "F-Fine." She said, not thinking she could take the whining. "I'm so going to get it for this..." She grumbled, slowly walking off in he direction of home. "No you won't, good girls get rewarded." Houmei said, she walked beside Jamie.

Orpheus ignored Sarania and continued walking to the park. That's where he'd go. it was a beautiful place, even in the dark. He needed to think, and Sarania wouldn't' help. She would only fill his thoughts up with noise<lol noise> and make him frustrated.
Zoe grimaced "Ah'm here because I have nowhere else to go. That's why Ah'm here." "Zoe!" Susan scolded "What?" Zoe asked Susan "That's why Ah'm Here." "But you shouldn't speak to people like that. Least of all family." "Oh yeah, because family means so much.' Zoe rolled her eyes and twirled her one small braid in between her fingers. "Well good luck, I have to try and find Orpheus." Susan sighed "Dad still wants him on 'our' side." To Susan there were no sides, she truly wanted everyone to just get along.

Sarania watched Orpheus ignore her. At first she pouted, but then she became angry. "OI, YOU!!!" She shouted, pointing at Orpheus. "Is that how you treat me, My daddy is still head of the council and so I'm considered your princess!" She Ran up to Orpheus grabbing his arm! "If I say Hello, you say hello back, where are your manners?!" She asked angrilly.

"You better hop- to it then Sue-aunt. I'm goign back to my room." Zoe sighed getting up and and heading back to the Damon house. Susan sighed and began going out of the park towards Nadia's house.
"Out the window with my sanity." Orpheus said yawning he reached into his pocket for his cell phone, he began to text Senzi.

Sarania poked Orpheus' arm angrily. "Pay attention to me Orphi-Kun!!!" She whined. "I'll be your dirty mistress if you want." She said, batting her eyelashes at him. "I'll show you a gooooooooooooooooooooooood time!" (*cough* slut *Cough*)
Senzi let out a sigh, and grabbed her hand bag, stuffing her cell inside, before leaving the room. She wasn't just going to sit inside the house, she slowly walked down the stairs towards the door.

Senzi looked at the texts and let out a sigh. -it's fine, just don't leave me behind next time- she texted back, before walking out the front door.
"Buuuuut Orphi-Kun, I wanna go partying, let's go clubbing, the people there taste really nice...." Sarania sang.

"Aren't you a little old to be acting childish?" Orpheus said looking forward, and forward only.
Susan looked at her niece and forced a smile. "You go back to the house I have things to do."
"Sure sue." Zoe sighed, her aunt, was more like a mother to her. Susan tried to be the mother that she never had, she would care for her siblings and help take care of her dad as far as meals went. She would open the curtains at night and close them when it came close to daylight. It was her goal, no, her only purpose, to take care of her family, no matter how large it was, and no matte how hard it was. And no matter how much they hated her for it.
Susan took in a big breath and left the park, she headed for the house of Nadia Ki, Orpheus mother.

Sarania pouted. "Clubbing and partying isn't childish..." She said, lightly bopping Orpheus on the back of the head. "Teenagers and young adult women do it all the time." She bopped the back of his head again. "Aren't you a little young to be acting all serious and adult like?" She asked.
Senzi stood on the front porch trying to think of something to do before the sun came up.

"I have a position to train for in less than a week. I f you were me you'd be serious as well." Orpheus said formally, he looked forward only ,only forward. His relationship with Sarania was now no more than a business relation. a professional, work relation. Orpheus truly felt like crying, he longed for the comfort of family, of Senzi, Bells, his mother, grandfather even. Or! Or! Or! Or! His father. Orpheus hadn't seen his dad in ages. He hadn't had tea with Susan or bickered with Jamie and Damien. Not in forever! Orpheus' face lit up a little, he flipped open his phone and texted Senzi. -I'm going to Dad's, you can come if you want, don't worry I'll protect you lol XP- he typed. he knew where he was going, he knew how to shake the melancholy. Who better to be walking up the street than Susan Damon.
Susan looked to her delighted surprise, there was Orpheus. Thsi saved her a lot of walking in high heels.

Sarania pouted, she stopped walking and just stood there, watching Orpheus walk towards Susan. "Fine, don't hang with me, I'll just go find someone else to play with!" She exclaimed, before turning on her heel and walking down the street.
Senzi flipped open her cellphone and read the text and let out a sigh. She wasn't very comfortable with Orpheus' other family, but she could put up with being around them. "Might aswell go visit them..." She murmered. "OR I could go shopping, but I could run into Sarabitch..." She was stuck on what to do.
