Emmeline walked down the halls, holding Edella tightly against her, careful not to disturb her in any way. "Sleep well, princess..." she whispered, her boots clicking quietly down the hall.
Akito coughed, rolling over in the small puddle of blood, holding his stomach. He felt like he was going to throw up... and like he had been hit multiple times. "You... didn't have to say those things..." he whimpered, managing to stand up.
But I was right... wasn't I? asked a voice in his head. Once you became me... she stopped caring about you. See Akito... no one understands, and no one ever will.

The bear stopped following after Emmeline and Edella and looked over at Akito, and began to run up to him. It stopped a few inches from the puddle of blood, jumping up and down excitedly.

Akito looked at it, confused, then picked it up, staring into its eyes. "Edella...? I'm... I'm sorry about anything he may have said to you that upset you... or if he hurt you..." he said quietly.

The bear blinked a couple times, before shaking its head and pointing over at the direction Emmeline had gone. It then pointed a paw at it's mouth lines, and shook it's head, trying to tell Akito it couldn't speak. It resumed pointing in the direction Emmeline had gone.

The bear thought for a moment and then nodded, slowly climbing up onto Akito's shoulder. It's movements were alot stiffer then normal.

Akito looked up nervously. "But... I... I'm sure Aunt Emmeline is not very happy with me... or Agito." he said, hugging his chest, gritting his teeth. "Stupid... stupid Agito."

The bear tugged on Akito's hair, pointing at Emmeline again, and then at Akito and itself and then back at Emmeline. It continued doing this copious times, it's movements growing even stiffer.

Akito winced. He looked at Emmeline who was disappearing around a corner, and sighed. "Okay..." he said quietly, following slowly after her, staring at the floor. Words could not describe the guilt that Akito felt. He really didn't want to follow Emmeline, but in a way, felt obligated to do so.

The bear looked sort of happy when Akito decided to follow after Emmeline. The closer he got to Emmeline the easier the bear was able to move. It noticed Akito seeming a bit..."unhappy?" and quickly poked his mouth, and pointed to it's ear, trying to tell him to talk to it...or something like that.

"You... want me to talk to you?" he asked it. Akito was pretty good at understanding things that could speak for themselves, however, he was confused. He didn't know what to tell the bear at all. "About what?

The bear thought for a moment...and then pointed at Akito's heart, and then his head, and shrugged. It didn't really know what it wanted to hear him talk about, it just wanted to listen.

"What I'm feeling... or thinking about?" he guessed. "I guess that... I'm just worried that Edella is going to be mad at me... or that Aunt Emmeline is going to chew me out, or tell oto-san that Agito was bad. Then we'll both be in trouble."

The bear shrugged. It started to make some small whining sounds as if trying to say something, but wasn't able to. It pointed at Emmeline/Edella, and then rubbed cheeks with Akito. Trying to act like Edella.
"E-Enilemme w-where is B-Beary?" Edella asked, looking for her bear which was behind them with Akito...

He sighed. "I know that Edella likes me... and she's very nice, so she probably won't be mad... but... still..." he said sadly.
Emmeline stopped, turning around. "Beary?" she asked, spotting Akito. "Tch..." she scoffed. "Akito's behind us with him."

"O-Otika." Edella said, smiling brightly. "He's okay, that makes Allede...h-happy."
Beary's eyes were suddenly tinted pink, as it hugged Akito's face more, rubbing cheeks with him. Edella's neck began to bleed as she began moving her fingers.

Emmeline's eyes widened as she stopped. She turned around, looking at Akito with burning eyes. "GIVE ME THAT BEAR!" she snapped.
Akito blushed, rushing over to her, handing her the bear, which she promptly snatched away.
"Go back to your room! Now!" she barked, pulling a small handkerchief out of her pocket and holding it firmly against Edella's neck, speeding up on her way to the infirmary.

The bear's at first put up some resistance to being taken away from Akito, but as soon as it caught site of Edella the pink tint disappeared from it's eyes and it clawed onto Emmeline's arm, waving at Akito. Edella's hand stopped moving, once Emmeline had taken Beary away.

Emmeline sighed, ignoring the bear, and making sure to keep pressure on Edella's neck. Finally, they got to the infirmary, she rested Edella on one of the beds. There was no nurse present, so she took it upon herself to clean and bandage Edella's wounds.
Akito stood in the hallway for a moment after Emmeline left, then sighed, turning. "You always mess everything up..." he grumbled.

Beary walked around the room, playing with guaze, and cotton balls, looking as if he was having a great time. It looked around the room for more things to play, trying to stay out of Emmeline's way, a couple times it'd look over at Edella, but it would always find something else to do afterwards.

Emmeline sighed, rubbing her head. "I hope that Mia comes back soon..." she said softly. One nice thing about Mia was, even when she was "taking a break" she'd go out and do some kind of work... normally a retrieval mission, which was a nice way of saying kidnapping, or some kind of espionage. That and, when Mia got back she could look at Edella with better medical knowledge.

Beary jumped up, and grabbed Emmeline's waist, trying not to slide off. It made a few muffled whining sounds as it rubbed it's head affectionatly against her waist.

She smiled, picking Beary up and placing him by Edella. "You sit with Allede, kay?" she said warmly. "Make sure she doesn't-" but she stopped, hearing the door open. "Mia!" she said.
Mia sighed, closing the door. "Are either you or Arthur free?" she asked.
Emme nodded. "If you can take care of Edella for me, I'm free." she said.
Mia gave a half smile. "Sure... there's a boy in the holding cell who I need you to look over and decide what to do with."

Beary looked over at Mia, jumping up and down happily. The bear pointed at Mia and then Edella cheerfully. It walked over to Edella's head and then began to try and braid her hair, every now and then pointing at Mia and then Edella's neck.

Mia waited for Emmeline to leave and sighed. "I hope she doesn't get mad..." she grumbled, sitting by Edella, looking at her wounds. "Your family's becoming quite the problem. She might not like him being here if he's so dead set on taking you home."

The bear stared at Mia, tilting it's head and shrugging. It went back to playing with Edella's hair.
"Who?" Edella asked, her eyes closed. She was slowly drifting in and out of conciousness.

Mia smiled weakly. "Your big brother came here to try and 'save' you." she said softly, carefully looking at Edella's neck and treating her other wounds. "I know you don't remember very much... but do you remember your big brother?"

Edella opened her eyes, and thought for a moment. "Big brother...." She said, trying to think. "Eimaral...he's here?" She would have looked around if Mia wasn't healing her. "W-Why's Allede's big brother Eimaral here..." Sure Edella couldn't remember much about her childhood before the government took her in, but she remembered her big brothers face and name.

Mia smiled. "I was scheduled to check out the area we had found you in... and when that boy saw me, he followed me for a while, then approached me and ordered me to take him to you... I felt a little bad for the boy, so, I brought him here." she said with a very quiet laugh. "Since he's a relative of yours, Emmeline will probably let him work with the rest of us, out of a cell... but, please don't be disappointed in her if she doesn't."

"Okay." Edella said, nodding. "Is Allede allowed to go see Otika when you're done?" As usual Edella was thinking about Akito.
The bear lightly patted Edella's forehead.
