history: Carlton was treated dreadfully as a child. His father was a drunk and his mother was a stoner, so she never did anything to stop the insane beatings that Carlton's father put him through. As he grew, Carl tried not to think bad things about his family, but began to be consumed by a monster that he saw in his head that told him to kill. Eventually, he did as the monster instructed, only to be thrust completely into the beast's fantasy world, forced to do whatever it is it tells him to do. Most of the time he doesn't even know he's doing bad things when he does them.
