Marcus is the middle child of the St. John family and has no middle name unlike his brother Thomas and Sister Claire. He went through a wild streak when he was younger and seemed to grow out of it, although he is still a little wild he is still well refined and doesn't loathe his younger sister like Thomas does, but doesn't seem extremly close to her either. Marcus doesn't take sides and usually spends most of his time reading. He sometimes dies and streaks his hair like he used to, but sometimes leaves it the natural white color it is.
