"H-How is it cursed, I thought is was supposed to be perfect?!" Lolita asked, jumping up. "Who the heck would curse my Kira-Bear?" She wrapped her arms around his head, playing with his hair, her anger towards Kira disappearing. "I don't want to be a widow..."

He shook his head. "Well.. you wouldn't lose him, per se... He never broke the first curse on him... he just loop holed out. His spirit is still immortal. It's just his body. However..." he paused, looking Kira over, "Mrs. Yagami is correct. The body was supposed to be perfect... If there's a curse on it, it had to have been someone powerful... like a God."
Kira snarled. "It was those demon children, I know it..."
Aki shook his head. "I don't think so sir. They're strong, but they're only half goddesses... this is the work of a pure blooded demon god... or even a Celestial."

Lolita rubbed the top of Kira's head, messing his hair up as she did. "My poor little Kira-Bear, has yet another curse on him, you need to stop angering people so much." She said. She let go of Kira, flopping back wards onto the bed. "So what do we do about this, how do we prevent the body from dieing, remove the curse, ect?"

Aki bit his lip. "I... I don't know... If it's a demon god who cursed him... we could try to push it out... but since Master Yagami is a demon himself, it could hurt him too... However, if it was a celestial who placed the curse on him, we'd have to find a way to make a deal with the gods... and I'm pretty sure that Mother Amaterasu has no intention of helping the demon she's been trying to slay for over a thousand years."

"He's also my all you can eat buffet." Lolita said, throwing her hands in the air. "We can't just sit around waiting for him to die, if Amaterasu is our best shot at saving him, then we might aswell ask for her help." Lolita did not want to lose her husband, or her food...but mostly her husband!

Aki sighed. "You're lucky... this city is a central location of a lot of shrines and temples... I'd take him to the Sun goddess's temple, that's your best bet to get a hold of Amaterasu..."
Kira growled. "No chance." he hissed. "No matter how sick I am, I will NOT go to that temple."
Aki looked to him sadly. "Sir... I know that you can't forgive your father and siblings, but-"
Kira snarled. "NO!" he barked. "I am NOT going to that temple. End of story!"
Aki sighed. "Mrs. Yagami..."

"But Kira-bear, how else are we supposed to fix you?" Lolita asked, pouting. "Do you want to die and leave me a widow?" Lolita sat up hugging Kira from behind. "Pwease, go there, not just for me, but for your own health." She was now tearing up. It was hard to tell if her tears were fake or not. "Don't make me force you to go there..."

He winced. "I'd rather die than..." he started, thinking 'give their spirits the pleasure of seeing me do something so degrading...' but he paused to cough, hacking out a mouthful of black ink into his hand. He swore angrily and turned to Aki. "Fine... but not Amaterasu's shrine... we'll go to the moon shrine."
"Sir, we're more likely to-"
"Leave me my dignity, Aki." he said, his voice mixed somewhere between a bark and a plead.
Aki looked to Lolita again, as though for help, or to see if she was willing to meet Kira's terms.

"Any shrine he's willing to go to is good enough." Lolita said. She kissed Kira on the cheek again. "Everyone needs a lesson in humility at some point darling..." She jumped off the bed. "I guess this is your lesson...or something like that, I'm not very good at being...err a smart ass." Lolita looked over at Aki. "Normally I'd say you should stay here incase Rikko leaves school early, but under these circumstance I think it'd be better if you came along."

"I don't mind...just be gentle with my Kira." She said, walking out of the room. "Why are you always getting cursed, why is there never a dull moment in this house?" She asked, grabbing the keys to the family car. "If things don't get quite for a couple of days after this I'll start to develop wrinkles, or worse!" Lolita waited for Aki to follow. "And I can't start aging unless Kira does, I don't want to look old way before him." It was official Lolita was chattering, but that's what she did when she was either worried or excited.

Aki followed after her, keeping an Arm under Kira, just in case. However, Kira appeared to be carrying himself fine, give or take a few small stumbles. He let Kira take the whole back seat and sat up front with Lolita. "You know the way?"

"No." Lolita said, starting up the engine. "But what's the point of a car ride without a little detour here and there?" She was trying to keep the mood light and perky, instead of dull and dark.
(All of my characters are such funny/bad drivers, except Lydia...)

Aki growled very lightly, not wanting to show his displeasure towards his master's wife. "Mrs. Yagami... with all due respect, Kira-sama is not doing well." he said. "We need to get to the shrine as soon as we can."

Aki sighed. "Yes Ma'am..." he said, rubbing his head as they made their way to the shrine of the moon god. It wasn't too hard, with Aki giving directions, though they cut off a lot of cars along the way. The shrine of the Moon God as located just off the side of a large, very deep lake. It was old, and looked like it wasn't visited very often. All of the icons and memorials were covered in a thin moss...
Kira growled as he made his way into the sacred area... familiar images flooding into his mind. The shine itself housed a large statue of a rabbit holding a giant hammer, but smaller statues sprinkled the areas. The one that was causing Kira to be particularly upset was the statue of a beautiful young woman, kneeling on the ground with a large three tailed demon with a grotesque face and monstrous claws and fangs, standing protectively behind her. "Let's get this over with..." he hissed.

Aki shook his head. "We have to propose a meeting with the gods... preferably Amaterasu. However, any God, if they are merciful, will do. Since it's for Master Kira, he should be the one who-"
"No..." Kira hissed. "I came to this damned place, and I'm going to lower myself even more by asking the Gods for their help. I am NOT going to lead an prayer. I'm a Demon, damn it!" He was fuming. Even being in this holy place was taking a toll on his body, so much so, it was visible. His eyes were dull, his skin pasty, and his body slouched weakly. He was suffering for his pride.
Aki sighed. "If you refuse... Mrs. Yagami... you're going to have to do it. No matter how strongly I may follow Kira-sama, you are far more passionate. We need that passion." he said, turning to Lolita.

Aki touched her shoulder very lightly, pulling her gently so that she was facing Kira, who was staring at the ground, hunched over, clinging to his own body as though he thought he may fall apart. He was shaking, and groaning quietly, as though he thought that if he didn't make noise, no one would notice his pain. "This should be reason enough to pray, Mrs. Yagami... Lolita-san... for your husband."

"My poor Kira." Lolita said, grabbing Kira into a hug. The next thing that came out of her mouth wasn't really controlable. "AMATERASU PLEASE COME AND SAVE HIM!!!" She clutched Kira for dear life. "I don't want to lose him." She cried. "Please come here and save him...was that good enough?"

There was a quiet giggle somewhere close by, before a tall young man wearing a very strange outfit stepped out from behind the statue of the moon demon. "It was quite lovely, for a beginner anyway." he said, tilting up the beak of his bird shaped hat. "However, you're at the wrong shrine to be praying to the Goddess of the Sun."

The man giggled again. "You really don't understand the situation, do you?" he asked, glancing at Kira. "You really think She's going to take a curse she put on someone because you pray? The Gods are forgiving, but not THAT forgiving." he said.
Kira snarled. "Then we'll make her come to us..." he hissed through clenched teeth. He started to move forward, but wobbled and would have fallen if Aki hadn't caught him. "Aki..." he said quietly.
Aki nodded. "Understood..." he said, lowering Kira to the ground before turning to the man. "You're her messenger, no?" he asked.
The man smirked. "Well, I wouldn't say that... but close enough." he said
Aki smiled, baring his fangs. "Good enough for me." he hissed, running at the man, ready to attack.

Lolita reached out and grabbed Aki by the shoulder, pulling him behind her. "Wait, Wait, Wait, if we anger the gods the reprecussions will be great..." She said, glaring at Aki. "Now maybe we should try being POLITE and NICE." She hissed at Kira. She held Aki behind, her not letting go of him. She looked over at the man, smiling politely. "Could you please get her to come here for me, Please?" She asked, batting her eyelashes.

"Because..." Waka said, his face suddenly serious. "your wishes are an act against the Gods. And that, I cannot forgive." With that, he reached into his sleeve, pulling out a small wooden flute. He held it out, sliding his opposite hand across it, a glowing green ray of energy shooting out of one end like a blade. "You have violated this sacred place, bringing him here. As the priest of this shrine... I have no choice but to cleanse it."
Aki growled. "Mrs. Yagami... Master Yagami is in no condition to even consider battle... Please get him somewhere safe while I handle him." he said, standing protectively between Kira and Waka.
Some time had passed, and Onirikko was nearly home from school. She stood at the front gate to her house for a moment as a strange feeling overcame her, however, she brushed it off and made her way to the front door.

Lolita nodded, grabbing Kira, and lifting him up onto her shoulders. "Sorry it's un comfortable, but this is the easiest way to carry you out of here." She said. She ran out of the shrine, and to the car. She opened the back door to the car, and sat him down on the back seats. She climbed in the drivers seat, and started up the car, driving away from the Shrine. She looked at the cars clock and sighed. "Rikko will be home soon..." She shrugged. "Sorry Kira-Bear, I don't know how we're going to fix you now." She cut off a few cars. "It's not fair..."
