There was a loud crashing noise from behind them, as a large tree from the side of the hill came crashing onto the moon god's shrine. There was a quick light colored blur, before a thumping noise on the top of the car. Aki rapped violently on Lolita's window, clinging tightly to the top of the car with his other hand, holding Waka down to the top of the car with his knees. "POP THE TRUNK!" he shouted, hoping that not too many people noticed... though it was very unlikely.

Lolita looked over at Aki like he was crazy, and quickly pressed a button, popping the trunk open. "What the heck are you doing?!" She asked, angrily. "Do you have any idea how fast we're going?!"

There was another loud thumping noise, before the crash of the trunk closing. Aki quickly slipped in the passenger window. "Well... we're definitely going to get to see Amaterasu... she's not going to be very happy though..." he said, laughing nervously.

"Then you can negotiate with her, because there is no way I'm going to help you stuff her in a trunk." Lolita snapped. She knew that Amaterasu couldn't be stuffed in a trunk, she was a goddess. "What happens when he gets out of the trunk?"

Aki laughed nervously again. "He won't be able to get out of the trunk... he's going to be out for a while. Celestial or not... a tree to the skull isn't something you just get up and walk off."

"Did you get hit by the tree?" Lolita asked, glancing at him. She was not a fan of having an unconcious body in the trunk, let alone a messneger of the gods. "You just better hope Kira survives all this or I will skin you alive." Her eyes flashing red.

He held up his hands. "Look... Mrs. Yagami. He was going to attack us, regardless. At least now we have a bargaining chip." he said in his defense. "I only did it because we were running out of options."

Lolita sighed. "Fine, but what if useing him as a bargaining chip doesn't work?" She said, speeding off down the highway. "And where are we going now?"

The twin's eyes leaped up at hearing someone at the gate, and began brewing tea.

Onirikko opened the front door, taking off her shoes and slipping on her slippers. "Okasan, I'm home..." she called, even though her voice still wasn't very loud. She sniffed the air. "Apple? But we never have fancy tea." she said, trotting into the kitchen. "Okasan?"
"No, we're going to the sun shrine." Aki said. Kira shifted in the back, like he was going to sit up and protest, but merely grunted in pain and rolled over. "You don't have to go, Kira-sama... Lolita and I will speak to the goddess alone."

"What if one of her other minions show up and kill him, or the guy in the trunk wakes up and kills him?!" Lolita asked, not content with leaving Kira alone unprotected.

"We're taking Ushiwaka-san with us." he explained. "And don't worry. No one's going to come and do anything to him. Gods have morals. Killing someone when they're already dying is below them." He looked to Kira, then back to Lolita. "I can't do this on my own. You'll appeal more to their merciful side."

"After how that guy acted toward me at the moon shrine, I don't think we'll be seeing their merciful side, especially when you bring in a hostage..." Lolita sighed. The car sped up even faster, before she finally stopped at the location of the sun shrine. "Let's go save my husband."

Aki opened his door, still explaining as they went. He popped the trunk, and pulled Waka out. "Ushiwaka is not a god... he is a messenger. A demi-god if you will. His morals are much less merciful." he said. "The Gods, however, will not want to be seen on the same level as humans."

Aki continued to smile warmly at Lolita, draping Waka over his shoulder as they made their way up the hill. "Pure blood or not... I respect Kira-sama more than myself. It wouldn't be right to treat you any different. If Kira-sama has made a special place for you in his world, it's not my place to impose."
Onirikko backed out of the room slightly, her red eyes dark. "Okasan never told me she had any friends coming over... who are you, and where's my okasan?"

Aki shook his head. "We leave Ushiwaka-san as an offering..." he said. "That should at least get her down here."

"Would you please?" Lolita asked, worried about her daughter. "If she's hungry there's some instant ramen in the cabinet next to the stove, tell her mommy and daddy will be home soon, and if you need to you can bring her out here." Lolita took Ushiwaka from Aki, continueing toward the Shrine.

"Yes ma'am." he said with a quiet bow. "But don't do anything rash without a serious reason." With that he dashed off toward the house.
Onirikko didn't move any closer to the twins. There was something about them that she really didn't like. "Okasan would have told you where she was going if she wanted you to watch me. Why didn't they send Aki-san?"

Lolita continued to drag Waka into the shrine. She glanced back at the car one last time, and then sighed. She walked into the shrine, and let go of Waka. "Come and get him!" She sang, pushing him forward with her foot. "If you want him that is..."

Onirikko jumped, hearing the front door slide open. She gave Chaos and Discord a mistrusting look before running to see who had come into the house. She relaxed a little, seeing that it was Aki.
He smiled at her. "Your mother was worried because she didn't think we'd be out so long. She wanted to make sure you were okay alone." he said warmly.
Onirikko growled. "I knew they were lying..." she grumbled.
"They?" Aki asked.
"There are two girls in the kitchen..." she said quietly.
It was strange. Although it was late in the afternoon, the sun seemed to suddenly shine much brighter than normal, however, the area was silent. almost too silent. Not even the animals in the forests around them were making noise.
